Items on sale at the shop such as “Space Walk Man” robot (Level 5: Outerspace), “Ultraman Japan 1990's” figurine (Level 4: Characters), “Lucy Tv Commercial” doll, “Mr Bean Teddy Bear”, “Winnie the Pooh bear (Limited edition)” (Level 3: Childhood Favourites), and “Monkey China 1960's” toy, and “Jaguar Marr Hong Kong 1960's (authentic replica)” (Level 2: Collectables) are items that serve as memories of the Collectables on exhibit in the museum. At Mint Shop we have rendered available to our guests, commonly played traditional kampong games in Singapore which have been passed down from generation to generation. These traditional games are chaptek (the shuttlecock), goli (marbles), and batu serembat (five stones). These items are an invitation to walk down memory lane for grandparents, and parents. The toys and games available at Mint Shop are educational, allow the exercising and development of skill and coordination, and encourage interaction. A great way to learn, play, and grow, while engaging with people and getting insight into the local heritage!
