Valuing Friendship

Toys Tour

Let’s take a look into our specially curated vintage toys amongst our 8,500 items of collection, featuring Smurfs figurines that are near half a century old!

If you lived through the 1980s, chances are you may have owned, listened to or watched the tiny blue gnomes named The Smurfs. They’re actually much older than that, as Belgian cartoonist Peyo created them way back in 1958 though their popularity extends to till this day. During the tour, we take a glimpse back into not just the Smurfs’ history but the characters’ friendship they value with one another.

Alongside the Smurfs, this tour will also introduce you to Mickey Mouse’s buddy: Donald Duck and Winnie the Pooh’s friends: Tigger, Piglet. Sharing with you some stories how these friends help or support the characters, that’s what we call true friends, indeed.

Workshop

In this workshop, participants will get to learn how to turn straws into friendship bracelets. Despite for drinking, straws can be used for other things. Why throw them away when you can make many interesting, creative and decorative things?
