RINGING TRICYCLE
Description
This tin toy depicts a boy riding a tricycle, which is a 3-wheeled vehicle, created as early as 1789 by two French inventors who developed the vehicle powered by pedals. When wound up, the toy moves forward with sounds from a ringing bell located at the rear of the tricycle. Look out for a range of such Tricycle tin toys within the museum’s Collectables collection on Level 2!
