apARTment says what it is: an apartment with art built into it, where the everyday life of home meets the expressive act of making art.
By isolating “ART” within the building’s frame, it invites you to pause, question and discover, turning a simple name into an artistic experience before you even step inside.

The Living Room is about personal expression: a safe and welcoming space to make art, tell your own story and learn something new. No judgement, just good company and plenty of fun.
What makes a living space yours?
The Playroom
For communal, group activities: making, playing and bonding together.
A space where hands-on activities takes place where teams, families and friends, play, make and bond together.
The Pantry
A taste of old Singapore awaits where heritage sweets like old school treats such as kacang puteh, gem biscuits, wheel crackers are playfully found. Self serve local coffee and tea the Singapore way are also made available.
The Kitchen Garden
Growing the herbs of Singapore’s heritage kitchens, for learning and hands-on workshops.
Kampong homes once kept herbs by the back door for everyday cooking. The Kitchen Garden brings that habit back, growing the herbs behind Singapore’s Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian dishes for visitors to learn from and use in workshops.
The Porch
Where the home meets the outside world, with the city skyline all around.
An open-air terrace for art jamming and landscape painting, looking out over the city. Pull up a chair and stay at while.

Mainan Alive! is a collective mural by MINT Museum of Toys and *SCAPE, created under the *SCAPE Urban Arts Residency Programme, bringing vintage toys to life from a uniquely Singaporean perspective.
Drawing inspiration from MINT Museum of Toys’ collection spanning 54 countries, eight Singaporean artists transform treasured artefacts into characters, scenes and stories in their own distinctive artistic styles. Together, their individual voices meet on one shared wall, offering fresh local perspectives on stories of play across cultures and generations.
Created for Rooftop apARTment, MINT Museum of Toys’ rooftop creative space, the feature mural draws from the idea of an “apARTment” — a homely space where people gather, connect and spark conversations. Bringing different artistic voices together while celebrating each artist’s individuality, “Walk Up to the Wall ’n’ Feel It” becomes an invitation to experience the mural beyond what meets the eye — to feel the artistic expressions, uncover the memories and stories held within the toys, and reconnect with the universal joy of play.
Through Mainan Alive!, every toy carries a memory.
