Journey around the museum through this Educational Amazing Race to solve a crossword puzzle at Collectables, riddle & hunt for dolls, puppets and teddy bears at Childhood Favourites, create storylines with pop-culture icons & superheroes at Characters and form a moon landscape with robots and extraterrestrial creatures from Outerspace!
This programme is specially curated for children ages 7 – 12 and as part of the museum’s ongoing efforts to cultivate strong parent and child bonding amongst families as well as the appreciation of museum culture in Singapore, the museum is offering complimentary admission for participating children to enjoy this programme during the school holiday season with an accompanying parent.
RACING CAR CRAFT WORKSHOP
A drop-off activity for children ages 7 – 12
Created specially for children ages 7 – 12 to spark a love for learning about cars through play! Begin the workshop with a 15 minutes guided tour to explore the museum’s vintage toy car collection followed by a 45 minutes workshop with all materials provided by the museum.
This workshop includes the use of recycled wood that are environmentally friendly to assemble and paint a racing car model while also learning early concepts of car parts, mechanisms and about Grand Prix automotive history.
Previously a programme specially curated for Formula 1 Grand Prix Season, the programme is also made available during school holidays due to popular demand.
